Beren was born July 22, 2006.  He now lives in the Missouri Ozarks with his half sister Promise (see females/Promise on the home page).  He went to his very first show in Nov of 2007 in VA Beach VA.  He walked in that ring and just lit up like a light bulb.  He was in his element and he knew it.  Beren won 3, 5 point majors that weekend and came home a Champion!  And he did all this at 15 months and out of coat!  All three judges that weekend came to us an told us he was headed for Westminster, that his movement was unbelievable,  that his expression was of the true Pyrenean type.  And many more comments of praise on Beren which I will carry in my heart forever.  Thanks to Judges Mrs. Barbara A. Hannum, Mr. Carl Gene Liepmann, and Mrs. Margaret Carole Jeffery for honoring Beren with his points and championship.  I also wanted to thank Paul Clas for handling him to his championship.  I have only the greatest of praise for him warming up to Beren and showing him to his best!  There seemed to be an instant connection between the two.

Breeding under the name of Tanimara Great Pyrenees in south central Missouri for 21 years now, I can only say how honored I am that Pat Ramampuram of Patorama and Susan Tucker of Thorn Hill  decided to breed their Pyrs, and allowed me the privilege of taking these two (Beren and Promise) home with me.

Beren is the light of our lives here at Tanimara.  He is available for stud to the right female.
